Wolf Point Schools Prepare For Election
There will be three positions open for the Wolf Point School District Board of Trustees this year. District 3 needs one trustee for a threeyear term, District 4 needs one trustee for a three-yearterm and District 6- At Large needs one trustee for a oneyear term.
Maps of the districts are available on the school website at www.wolfpointschools. org. District 3: Michael Turcotte was elected for a oneyear term that is set to expire this year. Turcotte has filed as an incumbent candidate.
District 4: Elizabeth DeCoteau Lingle’s three-year term is set to expire and this position will be open for election of a trustee for a three-year term. She is eligible to file as an incumbent candidate.
District 6: Mark Zilkoski was appointed by the Board of Trustees on Oct. 30, to hold the position until the May 2024 election. This position will be open for election of a trustee to complete a one-year term. Zilkoski is eligible to file as an incumbent candidate.
The annual school election is Tuesday, May 7, by mail ballot.
The trustee declaration form is available on the Wolf Point Schools website at www.wolfpointschools.org by going to Wolf Point School District page, Our District, School Board Information and is also available at the School District Administration Office located at 400 Fallon St. Completed forms can be filed with the district business manager/election administrator at the Wolf Point School District Office. Forms must be filed prior to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Election ballots will be mailed Friday, April 19, by the Wolf Point School District. Voted ballots can be mailed back or dropped off at the Wolf Point School District Office. Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day - Tuesday, May 7.
