Bainville High School senior Logan Josephson feels FFA is a quality program and he serves as the president of Bainville’s chapter.

“It’s been important in my life,” Josephson said. “It’s helped shape me.”

His favorite FFA competitions are mechanics and sales. He says Bainville has between 20-30 students involved in FFA.

“It’s a good chapter here,” he added Josephson has also been active in National Honor Society and Business Professionals of America.

His top areas for BPA include accounting and being a member of the small business management team.

Josephson’s involvement in sports include football, golf and being the basketball team’s manager.

His goal for this golf season is to qualify for the state tournament.

As far as football, Josephson said, “It’s been one of my most favorite sports for a while.”

When asked about his favorite football memories, Josephson thought and then said a fun memory came when Braden Romo kicked a long field goal in practice so the team didn’t have to go through conditioning drills. Josephson also enjoyed slipping and sliding around on a muddy field during practice.

His favorite class is history. His favorite teacher is Lance Berndt. “He’s funny,” Josephson said of Berndt.

Josephson also keeps busy by working at RGD Trucking and Rental. His main duty is doing the washing.

After high school, Josephson plans to attend Montana State University-Northern in Havre and study to become an electrician.

He has attended school in Bainville since the second grade. “It’s a friendly environment and all my friends are here,” Josephson said.
