Beston Receives Deferred Sentence For Charges

Kameron Dale Beston was sentenced by District Judge David J. Cybulski during a hearing in district court on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Based on a joint plea agreement, Beston’s charges for multiple counts was deferred for three years. He was given credit for 64 days for time served.

Beston originally faced the felony charges of distribution of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute and use or possession of property subject to criminal forfeiture.

Defense attorney Shannon Sweeney noted that Beston has already completed in-patient treatment and is enrolled in out-patient treatment.

Delvalle

Ramon David Delvalle had his arraignment hearing in district court on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

He made a not guilty plea to the charge of failure to register as a sexual offender.

Maximum penalties if convicted of the charge are five years in prison, a $10,000 fine or both.

An omnibus hearing was scheduled for March 13. A trial date has been set for June 13.
