Wolf Point Hosts District Basketball Tournament

Wolf Point High School will serve as the location for the District 2B boys’ and girls’ basketball tournament on Wednesday through Saturday, Feb. 14-17.

The tournament is expected to be well attended with strong support for each of the 12 total squads.

Along with Wolf Point, the other teams include Poplar, Glasgow, Fairview, Malta and Harlem.

Four games are scheduled for each day of the tournament with two boys’ games and two girls’ contests each day. Action begins at 3 p.m. for all four days.

The championship game for the girls’ tournament is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday. The title contest for the boys’ tourney is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The top four teams of each tournament will advance to divisional action.

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture will handle ticket-taking and the hospitality room during the tournament.
