Ruth Marie Shawl Jackson (Wahóȟbi Agán Naži Wįyą/ Stands On the Nest Woman) 66, of Wolf Point died Jan. 31, 2024, at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.
She was born in Harlem on the Fort Belknap Agency wo David Shawl and Vivian Bear.
She met Ron Jackson in 1972 and they were married on June 27, 1974. They spent 48.9 years of their lives together.
She had four daughters, Gina Bow, Melanie Jackson, Heather Jackson and Holly Jackson; and 11 grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Nadine McClammy; and her brother, Donald Shawl.
She was proceeded in death by her son Foster Paul; sisters, Norma Azure, Georgalene Jackson, Ethel “Pie” Jackson and Judy Rodriquez; brothers, Scamp, Bootsie Jackson, Roland Clark and Rusty Jackson; and her special parents, her mother and father-in-law who raised her, Calvin and Tootie Clark.
She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and attended many NFL games. She was a Chicago Bulls fan and loved Micheal Jordan.
She traveled all over the United States and took many vacations with Ron. They attended many concerns and entertainments events. She loved basketball and enjoyed watching her grandsons T.J., Geordy and Del Ray.
She loved to shop and spoil her grandchildren who she loved deeply.
She achieved many accomplishments in her life. She received her GED and associate degree in business management, a bachelor’s in business management and received a master’s degree in social work and was a licensed
