Driver Identified In Fatality Crash

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the FBI has determined the driver in the fatality crash that happened on Dec. 23, 2023, near Fort Kipp.

Katelyn Yuzzicappi, 24, has admitted to being the driver in the crash. Kendra Bets-HisMedicine was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling east on BIA Route 1 and went off the road into the south ditch. The vehicle hit a field approach, causing the vehicle to become airborne. Once the vehicle landed, it rolled multiple times and came to rest on its roof.
