Brockton Falls Short Against Plentywood

Brockton dropped both basketball games held in Plentywood Friday, Jan. 26.

In the boys’ game, Plentywood won by a 74-48 final. Plentywood got out to a 20-4 start in the first quarter and held a 44-19 half-time advantage.

Jarid Fast Horse led Brockton with 12 points.

Also scoring for the Warriors were Wambidi Yellowhammer with eight, Ronnie Black Dog with six and Josh Firemoon with three. Adding two points each were CoDean Youngman, Quannah First That Walks and Kameron Rattling Thunder.

Leading Plentywood were Carson Solberg with 19, Henry Kukowski with 14, Landon Flickinger with 12 and Noah Murray with 10 points.

In the girls’ game, Plentywood scored a 58-24 victory. The Wildcats led 24-10 after the first quarter and 34-12 at the half.

Tamryn Bauer led the Warriors with eight points. Also scoring were RayKira Track with six, Clara Clampitt with four, Aiyanna Eder with three, Marlene Fish with two and KayJay First That Walks with one.

Top scorers for Plentywood were Paityn Curtiss with 19, Audrey Sampson with 16 and April McCabe with 11 points.
