Taylor Hired As New Housing Director

Neil Taylor is the new director for the Fort Peck Housing Authority. Iva Zimmerman is the assistant director.

According to information regarding the housing meeting that took place last week, Taylor said he has a plan to address the issues at hand. Issues include vacant housing, occupancy, policies, procedures and audits.

Taylor told board members that he wants to address community members’ concerns and wants potential issues brought to his attention.

During a meeting, it was noted that there is an outstanding debt of $66,838 to cover the cost of the litigation process with former employees.

Housing commissioners included Robin Baker and Charles Knowlton for Poplar, Grace Pipe and Nadine Adams for Wolf Point, Mike Redstone for Frazer, JoEllyn Grandchamp for Oswego and Tom Brown and Vonda Bighorn for Brockton/Riverside.
