Board Covers Resignations, Hirings

The Culbertson School Board accepted the resignations of Logan Nickoloff (effective at the end of the school year) and Christian Damm during its monthly meeting held on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Hired for the 2024-2025 school year were April Wills, Victoria Obergfell and Shannon O’Brien.

Eddie Morris was hired as a guest teacher.

Trustees discussed the possibility of putting Culbertson’s old armory on the Montana Historical Registry. The proposal was tabled at the meeting.

School officials reported that the Montana High School Association’s annual meeting was well attended. There was discussion at the meeting whether boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will need to switch starting times for prime-time slots.

The Feb. 29 day off might need to be changed to Feb. 16 in order to coincide with the district basketball tournament.
