Local Woman Charged With Distribution Of Fentanyl

Cerra Anne Pipe has made not guilty pleas to charges in U.S. District Court. The charges include possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and distribution of fentanyl.

According to charging documents, Pipe knowingly and unlawfully possessed with the intent to distribute fentanyl in Wolf Point from approximately January 2020 to approximately January 2023.

On Aug. 31, 2022, Pipe knowingly and unlawfully distributed a substance containing detectable amount of fentanyl. Also on Sept. 1, 2022, the defendant knowingly and unlawfully distributed a substance containing a detectable amount of fentanyl. Both alleged incidents occurred in Wolf Point.

Maximum penalties for each count is 20 years of imprisonment, a $1,000,000 fine and at least three years of supervised release.
