Edmund Kenneth Klasna, 71, of Glasgow died unexpectedly near Tioga, N.D., the afternoon of Nov. 1, 2023, while delivering equipment for Border Plains Equipment. He was born Sept. 1, 1952, to Kenneth and Caroline (Cornelia) Klasna in Sidney. His sister Linda joined in 1955. He was raised on the family farm in the Elmdale community near Lambert. He attended the Petrik country school through fourth grade and then Lambert Public Schools grade five through 12, graduating in 1969. After high school, he worked on the family farm and at Sidney Livestock on sale days. He first saw Maryann Brophy at Sidney Hospital where he was a visitor and she a nurse. They officially met on April 6, 1974, and were married April 6, 1975, in the Bronx, N.Y. After the marriage, they resided and worked on the family farm near Lambert. There, they raised four children: Crystal, Casey, Cheryl and Calli. In 1995, they retired from farming and moved to Lambert where they opened Klasna’s Market and Meats where he was a custom butcher. Throughout the years, he had also worked in the oilfield. Retirement in 2007 took Ed and Maryann to Monarch, where they built their dream home and where he started a new business; Monarch Mountain Log Furniture. In 2020, they moved to Glasgow to be closer to their 11 grandchildren. He was currently employed at Border Plains Equipment where he helped to deliver equipment and parts. He thoroughly enjoyed his newfound friends and family there. He had many interests but the ones that highlighted his life included his African safari hunts with his son Casey and granddaughter Rylee, and his hunt in Ireland as

Thomas Jackson Christensen was born on May 26, 1928, to Oline (Rassmusen) Christensen and Knudt Christensen. He grew up on the family homestead, 20 miles south of Scobey, Mont., as part of the Silverstar community. He married Irma (Karge) Christensen in 1962. They were blessed with two children, Kay and Kent; and one grandchild, Alissa. Along with being an active farmer and rancher, Tom was an active, integral member of the Scobey and Wolf Point communities. He was a proud member of the U.S. Army. He had a lifelong love of history, travel and agriculture. He loved to tell stories of his military service, agricultural ambassador trip to Russia, and his self-chartered flight to South America with his long-time friend, Tom Brenden. He cared deeply for his family, his farm and ranch, and his community. Tom believed strongly in land stewardship and made every effort to take excellent care of his land, working with the Farm Service Agency and the Soil Conservation office on many different programs, and also served on the boards of the Farm Bureau and the Soil Conservation Agency. He was active in the Farmers Union and supported local co-ops. He served on the board of the Wolf Point Hospital and Nursing Home for many years and was a member of the Daniels County Museum, where he has a large collection of John Deere tractors that he restored. Margaret Claire Martin, 58, died Oct. 28, 2023. She was born Oct. 29, 1965, in Poplar to Betty Jo Ricker and Ronnie Martin. She attended school in Portland, Ore., and Frazer. She married Darrin Bad-Hawk Sr. in February 1982 and, from this union, they had five daughters and two sons. She loved to cook for her family and friends, which she learned from her mother-inlaw, Delores. She was known for her frybread and cooking but, most of all, for her sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her daughter, DeAnna; grandson, Kameron; and special friend, William Archdale. She is survived by her daughters, JoLynne Bad-Hawk, Ellicia BadHawk,
