Trustees Agree With Termination Of Teacher
The Wolf Point School Board met on Monday, Dec. 18, to hold a termination of a certified teacher hearing.
Trustees discussed the matter in closed session from 7:18-9:38 p.m.
Trustee Michael Turcotte made the motion to accept the recommendation of the termination of elementary teacher Connie Zimmerman. Trustee Keith Higgins seconded the motion.
Without any further discussion, trustees passed the motion on a 6-0 vote.
During the public comment portion of the meeting, Perry Lilley presented a letter of recommendation of himself regarding coaching and asked to work with girlsâ basketball coach Frank Benson. Board chair Roxanne Gourneau noted the hiring procedure and ask that Lilley visit with superintendent David Perkins.
