Residents Receive Awards For Christmas Lights Displays Residents Receive Awards For Christmas Lights Displays

The Wolf Point Lions Club and the Wolf Point chapter of Walleyes Unlimited have announced the winners of their annual Christmas lighting contest. Judging took place on Sunday, Dec. 17.

Eight winners received Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture shopping dollars. Awards included $125 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for the six honorable mention selections.

Chris Evans of 108 Prospect Ave. earned top honors in this year’s contest.

Brenda Calder of 200 Idaho St. was selected the second-place winner. Receiving honorable mention were Ronald Ricker of 316 Edgar St., Annie Birdsbill of Idaho St., Raul Figueroa of 901 Fifth Ave. N., Betty Moore of 931 Fourth Ave. N., Steve Harada of 211 E. Indian St. and Tom Granbois of 314 Indian St.

The annual project encourages community residents to get into the holiday spirit and has been taking place since 2011.
