The world is asleep, A winter’s night, The trees are draped, In a blanket of snow, A fire burning bright, Fills the room with calm, And the lights from the tree, Illuminate this home The presents are laid, With care and love, The room brimming with joy, A feeling so pure and good The world has stopped to rest, As one family all Celebrating the magic, Of this winter night’s fall.”
