Brockton’s Girls Defeat Northern Cheyenne

Brockton’s girls’ basketball team opened its season with a 56-38 victory over Northern Cheyenne on Friday, Dec. 8.

The Warriors jumped out to a 16-8 lead in the first quarter and increased the margin to 33-16 during the second quarter.

Brockton scored 18 more points in the third quarter for a 51-18 lead.

Top scorers for Brockton were Tamryn Bauer with 22 and Ava Lone Bear with nine points.

Also scoring for the Warriors were Marlene Fish with six, Taylor Cummins with six, KayJay First That Walks with six, Tatawna Youngman with four and Aiyanna Eder with three points.
