Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 51 calls from Nov. 27-Dec. 3.

Nov. 27

Deputies responded to Froid for a report of a reckless driver. After a deputy located the driver, the individual said he was driving but wasn’t reckless. The driver was advised not to drive without a license.

Nov. 28

Deputies responded to a vehicle collision with a deer west of Culbertson in which the airbag had been deployed. Deputies took a report.

Deputies responded to the BIA building in Poplar after an employee reported harassment. Deputies advised the reporting party to get a restraining order.

Deputies observed a vehicle traveling without a front license plate near Bainville. The vehicle also didn’t have brake lights. Parker Lee Grayhawk, 34, was charged for being in the possession of dangerous drugs, criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Nov. 29

Deputies responded to a call at Fort Kipp. The report was that an adult female was in a house intoxicated. Deputies transported the individual to another residence. Shortly after, another call about the female was received about a disturbance. The female was cited for being in possession of intoxicants while under the age of 21. She was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to tribal jail.

Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department and Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice with the arrest of an adult male with a federal warrant. He was taken to the county jail.

Nov. 30

Deputies responded to a report of vandalism to a residence on BIA Route 1 near Wolf Point. The reporting party said her boyfriend broke two windows at her residence and then fled in a vehicle to Poplar.

Dec. 1

Deputies assisted the ambulance crew in Bainville for an adult male who was passed out.

Dec. 2

Deputies assisted an ambulance crew northeast of Bainville to load an elderly female.

Tande Grocery in Poplar reported a woman was suffering with seizures. The deputy helped the Poplar ambulance crew load the individual.

Dec. 3

Deputies assisted FPTDLJ in locating an adult male who was threatening to harm himself in Brockton.

In addition to the citations above, the RCSO had the following activity: Wolf Point city limits, seven; Wolf Point rural, four; Poplar city limits, two; Poplar FPHA; Culbertson town, 10; Culbertson rural, 12; Bainville town, three; Bainville rural, 16; Froid town, two; Richland County, one; any other area, one; Brockton town, three; Brockton rural, eight; Fort Kipp, 13; total, 99.
