Culbertson Students Compete In Froid

The Culbertson speech and drama Team started off December with a bang. Dec. 2 found the team taking a short jaunt to the north to attend the Froid Invitational Tournament. Coach Jeri Gustafson said, “Everyone agreed that it was nice to be able to sleep for once.”

Placing for Culbertson were Samantha Annett, first in MPA; Harrison Green, first in informative; Colt’n Rees, second in MPA; Sublime Cady, third in MPA; Logan Berwick, fourth in humorous interpretation; Josie Simonsen, fourth in dramatic interpretation and Florian Budurean, fifth in humorous solo.

The team walked away with the first place Class C speech sweepstakes honors. The team’s next competition will take place in Forsyth on Dec. 9.
