Area Holiday Events, Carriage Rides Scheduled
Ongoing holiday events and gatherings in December continue with horse drawn carriage rides Saturday, Dec. 9 at Wild Calf Coffee’s Bainville headquarters. The Harmons are inviting locals to sip their award-wining coffee while taking a free ride courtesy AmBeau Farms.
Bjarnie & Dogphin and The Norwegian Fjords will provide additional entertainment. The free event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with carriage rides starting at 1 p.m.
The Wild Calf roasting facility is located at 6013 Road 1011 in Bainville.
A gift-wrapping station is set up at the James E. Shanley Tribal Library in Poplar, in case you could use a little privacy to wrap your gifts. Supplies will be provided but staff encourage people to bring their own if possible.
Photos with Santa are being offered at the Catholic Church Parish Center in Poplar Dec. 17 from 1-4 p.m.
There will also be hayrides and caroling, cookies and juice and holiday face painting.
