Agnes Ward

Agnes Mabel Ward (Looks at Buffalo, 81, of Poplar died Nov. 24, 2023, at the Poplar Hospital.

She was born on July 14, 1942, to Lucille Davis (Snell) and Lewis Snell and was one of eight siblings: Jimmy Snell, Kenneth Snell, Margret Snell (Bigleggins), Edna Snell (GrayHawk) Roy Snell, Duey Eagle and Rosemary Eagle (Morsette). She was born and raised in Poplar and later went to complete beautician school.

She met and later married Dallas Ward. From this union, Tanya Ward (Steele) and Mikel Ward Sr. were born. The family moved to Bismarck, N.D., for a few years, then moved to Williston, N.D. The family suffered a tragic loss of her husband, Dallas Ward, Sept. 2, 1981, and
