Frazer Girls Expect Good Results Throughout Season
The Frazer Bearcubs head into the girls’ basketball season with confidence on achieving success.
The Bearcubs start the season with a turnout of 12 players including four eighth-graders.
“It’s really good for the Frazer Lady Bearcubs,” coach Cody Larson said. “It’s exciting.”
Frazer returns six players from a season ago. Those players are senior Angel Nelligan, senior Shakira Beston, junior Baily Beston, junior Audrey Smoker, senior Angeline White and sophomore Isabelle Even.
“We have a lot of people back,” Larson said. “This is the best that we’ve been in several years.”
He feels District 3C will be a very talented conference. Top teams are expected to include North Country, Scobey and Circle. The top four teams advance to the divisional tourney, “We just want to be part of the battle,” Larson said, The Bearcubs will open the season against Reedpoint and Bridger during a tournament in Lockwood on Dec. 1-2.
