Construction Project Substantially Complete
The Montana Department of Transportation and Knife River are pleased to announce that construction on the US 2 - Culbertson project is substantially complete.
The project reconstructed approximately one mile of U.S. Highway 2 through the community of Culbertson, beginning west of 3rd Avenue West heading east towards the Culbertson Museum. In addition to rehabilitating the roadway surface, the project installed new curb, gutter, storm drainage, sidewalks, and signage throughout the project area.
Crews may return later this year or next spring to complete signage and light pole installation, weather and other factors permitting. Traffic control will be in place as this work is completed and is expected to have minimal impact on the traveling public.
