Faith Home Resident Found After Leaving Facility

Authorities located a resident of Faith Home after he reportedly left the facility during the middle of the night on Tuesday, Nov. 7/ Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Faith Home staff members, the ambulance crew, Wolf Point Police Department and the Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice all assisted with the search.

The 60-year-old man was located a few blocks from the facility at about 7 a.m. Reports are that he left Faith Home at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday night.

NEMHS officials provided the following statement, “We appreciate the help from local emergency and police services that helped us to locate our resident. We are also grateful that the resident was not harmed as a result of his leaving [Faith Home] that evening. At this time, we are completing an internal review of the event to identify opportunities that will help us prevent these unscheduled departures from our home and improve on patient safety and security.”
