Fireman’s Ball Scheduled For Oct. 14

Area residents will have the opportunity to show their support to the Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The fire department will hold its 108th annual ball raffle that night at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center. The ball is the fire department’s main fundraiser of the year.

The meal will be provided by Bruce “Cubby” Damon. He will serve is famous brisket, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables and a dinner roll. Dessert will consist of cupcakes made by a local baker. Dinner will start at 7 p.m.

A fundraiser is also being held with prizes in the amounts of $2,500 for first place, $1,000 for second place, $300 for third place and $100 for fourth place. Every firefighter has tickets for the fundraiser and the meal.

The night will also include silent auction items. Attire is comfortable, casual, formal or in a costume.
