Tribes Set Curfew For Juveniles

The Fort Peck Tribal Executive Board has set a curfew of 10 p.m. for juveniles.

The resolution notes that the tribes find it necessary to declare a state of emergency due to recent juvenile violence “that is threatening the well-being and safety of the tribes’ members and communities.”

The resolution said that parents and guardians will be accountable for the action of the juveniles who break curfew.

The executive board asks the public to report all suspicious activity to authorities.
