Judy Juell
Julia Ann Biery Juell “Judy” age 81, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2023, in Great Falls, Mont., surrounded by family. She is now pain free and fishing with her husband Harold and playing cards with her siblings.
Judy was born Aug. 13, 1941, in Oregon, the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Bennett) Biery. She was raised by her mom and stepfather Hugh Moyer. Judy has 10 siblings, seven children, 23 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one more on the way!
She attended Rosebud High School. After high school, Judy married Harold Juell on Dec. 11, 1958. They had just celebrated their 49th anniversary before Howie’s death. The Juell home was always open. Welcoming and full of love to all that came!
Judy had several jobs throughout her life time she worked at Triangle Café, The Elks Club, Buttery’s, First Community Bank and Roosevelt County Courthouse. She also sold Avon and Tupperware and made and sold beautiful birthday and wedding cakes.
Judy loved to make caramel rolls, cook for an army, playing cards especially pinnacle, planting flowers, fishing, camping, traveling and gambling. Most of all, she loved the time spent with her family and grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She loved to take trips to Yuma, Ariz., and stop at all the casinos along the way with traveling companion, brother Dan Biery.
She spent the last 13 years playing cards and fishing with her companion Harold (Ducky) Faler in Great Falls, Mont. Prior to that, she and Howie spent most of their years in Wolf Point raising their beautiful family. She loved when the Wolf Point Wolves played in Great Falls at that point, and she was able to watch Sierra and Sean at their games. She was in her glory once she was able to go out fishing in her boat.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Hugh Moyer; husband, Harold (Howie) Juell, infant daughter, Kelly; companion Harold “Ducky” Faler; brothers, Ward, Henry (Gail), John (Sharon), Criss, Richard (Dick), Dan, Ken and Ronald Biery; sisters, Kay (Ben) Berdahl and Mary Ellen (Chuck) Watson; stepbrothers, Donald and Harold Moyer; brothersin- law, Paul Juell and Marvin Uphaus; and some nieces and nephews.
Judy is survived by her children, Julie Flynn, Larry Juell, Randy (Lynn) Juell, Jay (Julie) Juell, Sherri (Rodney Braziel) Bird, Shelly (Gene) Stovern and Jeanni (Jeff) Heser; grandchildren, Christina (Reggie) Benz, Ashley (Darin) Falcon, Kurt Flynn, Justin (Ashley) Hall, Melinda (Robbie) McKenzie, Kenny (Jordan) Juell, Jenny Juell, Andy (Cassi) Juell, Brandy (Jeff) Toomer, Tandy (Taylor) Juell, Randy (Andrea) Juell, Cody Juell, Brooke (Garrett) Horsmon, Lauren Juell, Caitlin (Andrew) Juell, China (Arvin Mettai) Bird, PJ Bird, Asia Bird, James (Kaileen) Stovern, Jesse Stovern, Katrina (Jourdan) Feller, Karen (Luke) Heser, Dani (Tammy) Heser; Great grandchildren Jaci, Kayli, Sierra, Sean, Archer, Elsie, Ace, Eloise, Taityn, Taneil, Maggie, Henry, Joey, MacKenzi, LeeRoy, Haylee, Sterling, Stevie, Maeby, Chyro, Emma Grace, Jameson, and Kai; sisters-in-law, Sylvia, Geneva, Sandra, Vicki, Jeanette, Linda and Carolyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. with scripture readings at 10 a.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point, Mont. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, Mont.
