Fatal Structure Fire Reported

The Wolf Point Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fatal structure fire during the storm on Sunday, July 30.

Fire chief Clint Bushman said mud made the space and access limited, but they were able to extinguish the fire and locate the sole occupant.

The fire was at a structure located on Montana Highway 13 between Montana Highway 25 and U.S. Highway 2 east of Wolf Point.

Although Roosevelt County Sheriff/Coroner Jason Frederick was unable to positively identify the victim as of presstime without DNA results, friends and family have reported that they believe it to be Cameron “CJ” Azure.
