The Wolf Point 100 Club is asking residents to continue their support of local healthcare during the third annual “chair-ity” and fun yard art auction on Friday, July 7.

In past years, the event has been held during the Saturday of the Stampede, but because of the large number of activities offered on Saturday this year, the auction will take place on Friday, July 7, starting at 2 p.m. at Sherman Park.

Organizers of the fundraising event include Cindy Hanks, Cathryn Wylie, Tacy Strand and Beth Pickthorn.

Entry forms can be picked up at Friesen’s Floral or call 406-650-7171 for more information. Projects are needed by July 1.

Entries can include any new, re-purposed, themed, big or small, for inside or outside yard, or garden chair or lawn art.

“We would love people to just to be creative,” Wylie said.

Funds raised will help the 100 Club purchase medical equipment for health care facilities for Faith Home, Trinity Hospital, Listerud Rural Health Clinic, Wolf Point Pharmacy and Emergency Medical Services.

The chair-ity auction began in 2017 and the yard art portion started in 2019.

The Wolf Point 100th Club was founded in 1980 with the goal to assist in purchasing added medical equipment area health care facilities.

Thanks to the generosity of the area, the club raised $20,053 during 2022. That amount is an increase from $19,006 of 2021.

Membership tiers include $100 for bronze members, $250 for silver members, $500 for gold members and $1,000 for platinum members.
