Fort Peck Summer Theatre Begins
Tony Award winner Ken Ludwig’s (Lend Me a Tenor) madcap stage comedy of Agatha Christie’s classic suspense novel Murder on the Orient Express debuts at the Fort Peck Summer Theatre June 16. Recently a major motion picture, this stylish murder mystery involves an unlikely cast of suspects trapped aboard the luxurious Orient Express, and one of the most iconic fictional detectives of all time – Hercule Poirot.
The cast is led by Justin Meyer as Poirot, director of Meyer2Meyer Entertainment alongside his wife, Melissa. Their most notable show is House of Spirits: A Haunted Cocktail Soiree, which can be found in seven cities across the country during October. They also produce interactive marketing attractions for HBO, Netflix, FX, Prime and Epic Games: Fortnite.
Also starring are Alexa Etchart, Diana Trotter, Sydney Hayward, Chae Clearwood, Brittany Archambeault, Asher Boze, David Hopstad, Shy Iverson, Ben Wambeke and Bryan Songy.
Making her FPST debut, Murder is directed by Karen Jean Olds, an LA/MT-based actor/writer/director/choreographer/ producer. Olds is a long-time performer with Disney Entertainment, recording artist for Disney Records, and live-stage vocalist for Disney Concert Series at Dolby Stage.
Murder on the Orient Express runs June 16 – July 2: Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
