County Hires Summer Employees

The Wolf Point Museum is officially ready for the summer season after county commissioners approved two hirings on Thursday, June 1.

Hired to return at the museum were Sarah Wagner as curator and Sandra Woodstock as museum aide.

Five individuals were hired for the county’s weed districts. The student employees are Jade Emly, Jesus Guzman, Trever Powell, Hugh Donaldson and Isaiah Bjorge.

“They are all first-year workers,” commissioner Gordon Oelkers noted. “Last year, everybody was returning.”

Also hired was Lorie Smith as a Roosevelt County Fair employee. She replaces another student who decided not to work at the fair this summer.

Other summer employees for the fair are Perla Burciaga, Mariana Burciaga, William Salvevold and Leandra Perkins.
