Friends Of Froid Library Receives Grants

The Froid Friends of the Library has recently received two generous grants.

The Friends of Library received a grant of $1,000 from the Nyquist Foundation. The funds which will be used over the next four years to add books to the Thomas and Corinne Nyquist Montana Collection. The Froid Library is pleased to have one of the best Montana Collections in the area.

Also received was a grant of $1,000 from the Town Pump Charitable Foundation. The purpose of this grant is to encourage reading among children.

The Friends of the Library will purchase quality new books to be given to all participants in the summer reading program.

A share of this money will also be spent on preschool children’s books, which will be free for all preschoolers.
