Bainville Council Amends Budget

The Bainville Town Council held a special meeting March 23. The council passed amended expenditures exceeding the original appropriations for the 2022-2023 budget. A public hearing was set for April 10. The move rights the municipal process after the council passed the budget amendment without scheduling a public hearing at the March 13 meeting. Minutes for the March 13 meeting were also passed.

Discussion was held regarding utilities connections fees. The switch over to the new fee structure will likely be passed via resolution at the April 10 meeting rather than incorporating changes to existing ordinances.
