Lustre News

This is the week of Schmeckfest, so we are looking forward to seeing many of you for this important fundraiser for the Lustre Christian High School. Thursday will be a beehive around LCHS as the gymnasium is transformed into a dining area with displays along the walls and an auction to follow. It is an exciting time and very worth going.

Dwaine and Vivian Wall helped to celebrate Tom Heidner’s 97th birthday Sunday. Home from Helena were her sister, Susan Schlack and nephew and niece, John and Julee Hunter.

Lustre youth participated in the Jeff Jurgens Memorial Basketball Tournament in Glasgow over the weekend. There were teams from Havre, Plentywood, Little Fort Peck, Circle, Glasgow, Scobey, Medicine Hat, Froid, Chinook, Brockway, Wolf Point, Saco, Homestead, Poplar and Lustre. Lustre eighth-grade boys placed third, eighth-grade girls took seventh, sixth-grade girls took fifth, Lustre fifth-grade boys took seventh, and Lustre fifth-grade girls took third.

A memorial service for Eunice Wiens will be held at the EMB church on Sunday, March 26, at 3 p.m.
