Richland Credit Union Welcomes New CEO Richland Credit Union Welcomes New CEO

Richland Federal Credit Union has a new Chief Executive Officer, Korey Hagan, effective Jan. 23.

Hagan is from the area and grew up on a family ranch near Plentywood. He earned a masters in business administration from St. Thomas University and a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business management with an economics minor from Montana State University.

He brings 20 years of lending and management experience in the financial services industry with farm cooperatives. In his most recent position in Watford City, N.D., he was responsible for all lending functions and oversaw a loan portfolio with consumer, residential mortgage, agricultural, commercial and pooled and individual participation loans. Hagan and his team grew total loans by 23 percent, from $115 million to $141 million during his four-year tenure. Hagan is also stepping into the manager’s post at RFCU’s Sidney branch.

Hagan is taking over for long-time RFCU manager Kevin Mayer who is retiring after a 38-year career at the credit union.
