Residents Gather To Pray For State Residents Gather To Pray For State

 

With state and national leaders making decisions that will impact all residents, a group of individuals met at First Baptist Church for a quarterly prayer meeting on Thursday, Jan. 19.

Leaders at the meeting included Pastor Mike Kauffold of the First Baptist Church, Pastor Arch Woodstock of Community Bible Church, Pastor Mark Pearson of Pahin Wakpa Baptist Mission in Frazer and Pastor Mike Andrews of Gospel Fellowship.

About 30 people attended the meeting.

After opening words, the people were divided into groups of five to pray among themselves.

The four topics covered included: * Local community: Government, community needs, first responders, health providers, schools and churches.

* State of Montana: State government, tribal government, farming, ranching, commerce, social concerns, moral concerns, spiritual concerns and social services.

* National: Government, commerce, agriculture, social and moral concerns, spiritual concerns and social services.

* Global: Wars, missions and missionaries, government, social and moral concerns, spiritual concerns and social services.
