Local Church To Provide Coffee At Triangle Park

“Buddy, can you spare a dime?” was a common plea during American’s depression in the 1930’s. A dime for a doughnut, cup of coffee or even a bowl of soup.

In our community, we see folks that would like a cup of coffee and maybe a doughnut.

The family of the Community Bible Church is beginning a cold weather project. Pastor Woodstock’s 2000 dark green Ford has been renamed the “Green (coffee) Bean.” Members will prepare hot coffee and chocolate. Beginning on Saturday, Jan. 28, coffee will be available Wednesdays and Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.

The “Green Bean” will be parked near Triangle Park and will provide free coffee and doughnuts to anyone who stops by.

If you want to by part of this project, the church is accepting donations of coffee, coffee filters and help purchasing doughnuts. We would love to have you along as we share with our friends.
