By Bill Vander Weele Wolf Point High School senior Shastin Damon likes being involved with the school’s successful sports programs. In fact, the two-sport athlete plans to add even another sport this spring. “It will be my first year and I guess my last year,” Damon laughed about his upcoming track career. He plans to compete in weight events and maybe the 100-meter dash.

The program asks for nominations from wholesale producer members, chambers of commerce, economic development agencies, customers, tourism partners, peers and others. On Jan. 1, the Montana Department of Livestock Brand Rerecord period ended. Brand Rerecord is a one year period in which Montana brand owners renew their brands with the state to ensure an accurate record of livestock brands that are still in use.
