The fifth ACE program will empower Farm Bureau members to be confident, effective leaders in their county Farm Bureau and local communities. Poplar’s girls’ wrestlers dominated during action in Cascade and Simms last weekend.
The three Poplar girls combined for a 15-0 record.
Jazmin Gorder posted a 5-0 record including winning on a pin over Kaylin Taylor, who was a state champion at 103 pounds last year.
Precious Keiser had a record of 6-0 during the weekend.
Angelina Escarcega posted a 4-0 record for the weekend.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

Lustre Christian outscored Bainville, 57-47, during non-conference boys’ basketball action on Friday, Jan. 28.
After Bainville led by a 13-9 margin at the end of the first quarter, Lustre gained a 30-18 half-time advantage. Lustre’s Kolden Hoversland scored eight points in the second quarter.
The Lions held a 44-34 lead after three quarters of play.

Andrew Williamson of Wolf Point won the boys’ ages 10-11 Elks district Hoop Shoot free throw competition in Glendive held on Saturday, Jan. 22. He was previously the boys’ 10-11 champion at the Wolf Point Hoop Shoot in November 2021. He will compete at the Montana State Hoop Shoot competition in Livingston on Saturday, Feb. 5.
