Headdress Wins Ice Fishing Contest


The Poplar River Ice Fishing Contest was held Saturday, Feb. 5, southwest of Poplar. According to organizer Doug Marottek, Roger Headdress won first place with the biggest fish caught in tourney history, a 11.6-pound pike. The prize for first place was $2,000.
