Culbertson High School senior Ayden Van Why has a very familiar face to many area residents. After all, customers probably have been greeted by Van Why at the Val-Am store in Culbertson on more than one occasion.
Van Why works at the store, mainly as a cashier, after school every day.
He enjoys the job as he gets to interact with customers and develop more people skill.

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, a program of Montana State University, has announced the plays the troupe will perform for its 50th season.
The season officially kicked off in February with Montana Shakes! performing Bottom’s Dream for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. The summer tour will feature productions of King Lear and Twelfth Night across Montana and neighboring

The Roosevelt County commissioners agreed to write a letter of support for the Town of Culbertson’s upgrade to its swimming pool and bathhouse.
The letter of support is for a Montana State Parks Grant that could result in more than $100,000 for the project.
Officials have said that work could start as early as the fall since grants are received.

County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.

The community had an opportunity to enjoy the Basketball Showcase at Lustre Christian High School this last week, which ends the basketball camp season for kindergarten through grade seven. The camps were successful thanks to camp director Brooke Holzrichter, Kimberly Klatt and a group of volunteer high school basketball players, as well as cooperation from parents. They showcased each age group
