Stanley M. Hansen, 79, of Paulden, Ariz., died March 4, 2022. Born April 8, 1942, in Williston, N.D., to parents Florence and Otto Hansen and resided in McCabe (Dain Valley), he went to school and graduated from Culbertson High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Gobin, on June 8, 1963, in Froid. He moved several times as his work demanded it. Known as the Montana Stomper, he was a master drywaller for over 40 years, living in several states, Illinois, Virginia, North Dakota, Montana and settling in Arizona in 1984. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and retired after 20 years of service. He worked for the State of Arizona, at the Bellmont Army Depot and retired after 18 years of service to the state. He always put family first and was a generous man. He gave without expecting anything in return. Maurice Wayne Gonitzke, 81, of New Richland, Minn., died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Lake Mills, Iowa. He was born on June 8, 1940, in Bottineau, N.D., the son of Henry and Alice (Brandt) Gonitzke. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Kramer, N.D. He attended and graduated from Kramer High School in 1958. He went on to graduate from Bottineau Forestry and went on to continue his education at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D. He was united in marriage with Dorothy “Dot” Plorin in Gardena, N.D. They were married for 61 years. The family made their home in Bottineau for a number of years and then moved to Froid, where he was the manager of the Cenex service station and fertilizer plant. He served on the town council
