Wolf Point Clean-Sweep Set For April 18-30

Clean Sweep anti-litter efforts are winding up for spring. Barbara Olson told the Northern Plains Independent that the landfill will be accepting clean sweep trash at no charge April 18-30. The landfill will also be open on Sunday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring your landfill card if you have one. Appliances requiring freon removal will be charged a $10 removal fee. The Roosevelt County Library board held its regular meeting March 26, at 10 a.m. Library board chairperson Beth Hekkel was present, as was vice-chair Joyce Harvey, trustees Helen Welte and Vernie Madison. Library director Janet Livingston was also present. The trustee position has been filled. The Roosevelt County commissioners appointed Madison recently. The library will be getting an upgrade
