A holiday market is being held at the Poplar Cultural Center Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be beadwork for sale, as well as star quilts, ledger art, parfleche, knives, auctions, baked goods, ribbon skits and shirts, medicinal lollipops and tea, walking sticks and Christmas gifts. Kanyon Cruz Loucks was born Nov. 29 at 8:39 a.m. to Jennifer Moran Loucks and Bif Loucks of Wolf Point at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. He weighed eight pounds 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. He joins sisters Mahala, Marley and Bree and brother Maxton at home.
