David Carson


David Wayne Carson, 55, of Glasgow died Wednesday, May 18, 2022. He was born Oct. 28, 1966, to Robert and Donna (Nefzger) Carson in Wolf Point. He was in a car accident two days before his 18th birthday in 1985. He spent six months in a coma at St. Vincent’s in Billings and was moved to a nursing home in Havre for a couple of years where he had to relearn everything before finally returning home in 1987. He got stronger, learned to walk, talk and live life again. He loved his Oasis family and worked there until he retired. He loved to cruise his car around Glasgow and was known for his horn. He was an avid movie collector and would watch movies and spent time with his family whenever he could. He is survived by his brothers, Earl Carson of Glasgow, Michael Carson of Helena and Kelly Carson of Missoula; and sister, Kt Northington of Culbertson. A memorial service was held Monday, May 23, at the Assembly of God Church in Glasgow with Pastor Tom Fauth officiating. Inurnment was in the Vida Cemetery in Vida.

Faith Fellowship Hosts Lego Competition


Bainville Faith Fellowship Church hosted a Lego creation competition for children in grades K-12 on Wednesday, May 4. Participants were given a tub of Legos and 20 minutes to build and name their own unique creation. The top three places from each age division were awarded with gift certificates, which were donated by The Welcome Stop of Bainville. In total, 19 children participated. Faith Fellowship

Lloyd Heser

Early morning on May 14, 2022, Lloyd Patrick Heser, 82, peacefully passed away at Advanced Health Care in Mesa, Ariz., surrounded by the love of his family. Lloyd was born in Wolf Point, Mont., on Sept. 8, 1939. He was the third child of Frank and Faye Heser, arriving shortly after twin brother Floyd. Lloyd graduated from Wolf Point High School and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. On April 5, 1964, married Sharon Udland. They were married for 38 years until Sharon’s death in 2003. Lloyd was a service technician at Farmers Union Oil (now Agland). Lloyd passed his love for horses on to his daughter, son and nephews. Weekends were spent moving cows, riding in wagon trains, working brandings and taking care of the horses. He had a special knack for nurturing injured horses back to health. Lloyd enjoyed traveling to the Denver Stock Show, trips to Arizona and South Dakota to visit “the kids,” and was a member of the Elks and American Legion. Every year ,he participated in the Stampede weekend activities and was the 2007 Grand Marshal. In 2006, Lloyd was blessed with a new heart. He understood the importance and responsibility of such a gift and was grateful. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; parents, Frank and Faye Heser; sister, Ella Mae Stolen; and brother, Floyd Heser. Lloyd is survived by daughter, Cindy (Rob) Esparza; son, Rick (Jennifer) Heser; sister, Betty Moore; brother, Kenneth (Agnes) Heser; in-laws, Joan Heser, Barb (Dave) Cundiff, Tom (Audrey) Udland, Terry (Kathy) Udland, Candy (Jerry) Slavec and Christy (Frank) Richard; five grandchildren, Amanda Emerson, Seth Heser, Paige Esparza, Cole Heser and Destiney Esparza; great-granddaughter, Ardon Emerson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
