NEMHS Announces Employees Of The Year NEMHS Announces Employees Of The Year

Northeast Montana Health Services has announced the organization’s Employees of the Year.

At Poplar Community Hospital and Riverside Rural Health Clinic, Laken Pollock was selected.

Pollock has been in HIM for 10 years. She became a certified coder in 2018 and was promoted to HIM director in 2019. She has shown her strengths as a leader in this role by providing her department opportunities to grow.

She is currently working towards her RHIT degree while working full time.

Pollock is known to be very kind, caring and generous to fellow co-workers and patients.

Halie Holen was selected at Trinity Hospital and Listerud Rural Health Clinic as Employee of the Year.

Holen began her career at NEMHS in 2006 in the dietary department at Faith Lutheran Home. In 2014, she received her nursing degree.

She has grown in her role as the OB manager and has taken initiative to want to learn more leadership skills. She has been described as a mentor, a leader, always dependable, self-motivated and kind. She brings a positive influence to all departments of NEMHS and continually works to develop a positive image of NEMHS.

At Faith Lutheran Home, Michael Parsley was chosen Employee of the Year.

Parsley has worked at NEMHS just under three years. He was initially hired at Trinity Hospital in the maintenance department and transferred to Faith Home in 2022.

He is a steadfast, solid guy and there is never a job too big or too small. He works very diligently at his job, helping to keep NEMHS’s facility running at the optimum. He is innovative and doesn't have a problem thinking outside the box. He is respectful, kind, and is always willing to lend a hand. Faith Home’s residents love Parsley and trust him to accomplish any task.

Due to the COVID outbreak at Faith Lutheran Home, NEMHS has postponed the Employee of the Year Event/Christmas Party until a later date.
