Gas Prices Decrease By 3.8 Cents

 

Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 3.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.97/g on Monday, Dec. 26, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 61.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 38.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 8.6 cents in the last week and stands at $4.68 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Montana was priced at $2.75/g on Sunday, Dec. 25, while the most expensive was $3.43/g, a difference of 68.0 cents per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 4.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.05/g today. The national average is down 50.2 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 20.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
