Chazzie the Blue Nosed Reindeer
By Kellen Moran Northside School It was 10 minutes before midnight when Chazzie woke. He looked at the clock and jumped from the bed. It was Christmas Eve! Time to celebrate. Chazzie threw on his best Nike sneakers and an oversized coat. It was going to be a charming night.
The hundreds of millions of children in the world needed their toys and Chazzie knew just what to do. He gripped the light stick that glowed like a bright star and ran straight to Santa’s workshop. ZAP! The sound of lights was in the cool snow. He breathed in the smell of soft gingerbread. He quickly handed the short light stick to Santa and scurried back to the shed.
He stumbled into the reindeer pack. Silently, he brightened his blue nose and off they went.

by Zach Dionne - 5th Grade Northside School Santa looked at his expensive sleigh packed full of presents and told his head elf Jolly, “It looks like we’re ready to go!”
Santa scanned over his sleigh and took the reigns ready for a magical flight. “Let’s go Jolly,” called Santa steering his reindeer as they took off.
The sleigh started moving so fast that Santa’s big legs were shaking all over the place. The large and brave reindeer were trucking forward at an amazing speed. After all they had numerous deliveries to make. Suddenly they hit a giant snow hill and the sleigh started bumping up and down.“We need Rudolph to help us get through this,” called Santa to his head elf in the back.
Then santa thought of a great idea, he grabbed his tools and started removing the icicles that were in the way, “Wow Santa you sure are a great man,” said Jolly. Thankfully that solved the problem and the sleigh was no longer bumping . Santa gave a delightful look to his reindeer and called out, “Go faster my reindeer for we have many deliveries th make.”
