Gift Card Scam Warning Issued

Residents of Roosevelt County are being advised to look out for scam calls and messages targeting senior citizens in the community. Individuals are being targeted via social media and asked to purchase gift cards and other items.

Richland Federal Credit Union staff reported an uptick in calls from concerned residents in Roosevelt County and staff at Heritage Market in Culbertson told the Community News that multiple customers have been affected.

Anyone receiving suspicious calls or messages should contact the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office at 406-653-6230.
