Speech And Drama Competes At Billings

The CHS speech and drama team traveled to Billings over the weekend to compete at the Billings Central ABC season opener. The tournament was hosted at the Lockwood school complex. “Our team did a fantastic job of representing our school and community,” coach Jeri Gustafson told the Community News.

Trevor Green placed first in Informative. Marissa LittleWhiteMan took third in informative. Samantha Palmer placed seventh in dramatic solo and Trevor Jahns took eighth in mime. The team placed second in both Class C Speech and Class C Drama sweepstakes.

The next invitational tournament will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, at Custer County District High School.
