Chamber Planning Dueling Pianos Concert

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture will be hosting another dueling pianos performance that will take place in Wolf Point again this year.

The program will feature different performers than in the past few years. This year’s group will come from Colorado.

The dueling piano concert is scheduled for Nov. 12 at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center.

In addition, a newcomers banquet is tentatively being scheduled for earlier that night.

During the chamber’s meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 6, A.J. Allen of the Roosevelt County Health Department noted that a flu shot clinic is scheduled for Oct. 4 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at the health department.

the centennial Wolf Point Stampede is 6 p.m. on Sept. 26, at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center.

Plans for the Stampede have included a ranch rodeo and a pitchfork steak meal on Wednesday.

Ideas for new events have featured a car show, a basketball shooting (Horse or Pig) competition, wagon rides around town and arranging re-enactors for the celebration.

Plans are to have street dances or concerts each night of the Stampede.
