Reum Charged With Intent To Distribute Fentanyl

Andre Jean Reum, 24, of Wolf Point, submitted a plea of not guilty on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl, attempted possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and threatening a family member of a federal law enforcement officer.

Reum made the plea in Great Falls before U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Johnston on July 14 If convicted of the most serious crime, Reum faces a mandatory minimum five years to 40 years in prison, a $5 million fine and four years of supervised release. Reum was detained pending further proceedings. The FBI investigated the case.

According to court documents, Reum knowingly and unlawfully attempted to possess with the intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl in Wolf Point during May.

Reum is also charged with threatening to assault, kidnap and murder an individual who is a member of the immediate family of a federal law enforcement officer, specifically an agent from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
